Virtual Training Agendas

The IQMS virtual hands-on training program offers a growing list of courses that are taught in a distance learning environment, including all courses currently also taught in our training centers. Virtual classes are held in four hour increments over two, three, four of five consecutive days, depending on the course. This allows you to gain  structured, in-depth training while still tending to the day-to-day activities in the office.

IQMS Virtual class Overview

Below is a brief description of each of the Virtual Training courses following by a link to a more in-depth course agenda with discussion topics broken out by day.

EnterpriseIQ Accounting
This four-day hands-on course is a beginning to intermediate level course where users will learn how to utilize EnterpriseIQ’s accounting system. Day one will focus on the customer billing cycle while day two will focus on the vendor billing cycle. Topics covered on day three will focus on financials and general ledger maintenance. Day four is focused on understanding costing in EIQ, basic system setup, and an overview of Standard Costing transactions.

EnterpriseIQ Accounting & Spreadsheet Server
This five-day hands-on course is a beginning to intermediate level course where users will learn how to utilize EnterpriseIQ’s Accounting and Spreadsheet Server system. Day one will focus on the customer billing cycle while day two will focus on the vendor billing cycle. Topics covered on day three will focus on financials and general ledger maintenance. Day four is focused on understanding costing in EIQ, basic system setup, and an overview of Standard Costing transactions. Day 5 is dedicated to learning how to utilize the Spreadsheet Server application for generating financial reports.

EnterpriseIQ & Spreadsheet Server
This two-day hands-on course is a beginning to intermediate level course where users will learn how to utilize EnterpriseIQ’s Spreadsheet Server system.

EnterpriseIQ Crystal Reports
This three-day hands-on course is an introduction to using Business Objects Crystal Reports as it relates to the EnterpriseIQ system. It is designed to cover the fundamentals of the EnterpriseIQ database structures, and how they can be accessed via Crystal Reports. This course is not a substitute for Business Objects’ training courses. The fundamentals of how relational databases operate, how to view data structures, and the basics of Crystal Reports are presented as they pertain to using EnterpriseIQ.

EnterpriseIQ Crystal Reports & Labeling
This five-day, hands-on course combines three-days of basic introduction to using Crystal Reports as it relates to the EnterpriseIQ system. The first three days are designed to cover the fundamentals of the EnterpriseIQ database structure and how they can be accessed via Crystal Reports. (This course is not a substitute for Business Objects’ training courses or an advanced course.) The fundamentals of how relational databases operate, how to view data structures, and the basics of Crystal Reports are presented as they pertain to using EnterpriseIQ.

The fourth and fifth day (Optional – Contact Training Administration) are designed for users who will be using Crystal Reports to create label files for printing from EnterpriseIQ. It is an intermediate-level course that addresses topics specific to Crystal label reports such as commonly used fields, creating barcodes, label setup in EnterpriseIQ, and printing setup/troubleshooting.

EnterpriseIQ Human Resource Management
This is a five-day hands-on course where users will learn how to utilize EnterpriseIQ’s Workforce, Time & Attendance and Payroll systems. A brief introduction to our interactive Employee Portal will be demonstrated at the start of this course.

Topics covered on day one are focused on Workforce and include full setup instructions, as well as managing job applicants, tracking employee training and logging work related injuries. Topics on day two and three are focused on Time & Attendance, and include full setup instructions, as well as tracking absences and processing hours for payroll. Topics covered on day four and five are focused on Payroll and includes importing Payroll Tax tables, setting up accrual schedules and deductions, as well as processing payroll, and year-end tax reporting.

EnterpriseIQ Implementation Training
This five day hands-on introductory course explores the key concepts and philosophies of the EnterpriseIQ system. The goal is to provide a detailed overview of the system, while examining various concepts that require immediate user input. Such topics as part numbering, BOM building and usage, inventory, work order management, scheduling and RealTime™ monitoring are covered. In addition, the core data required to begin the implementation process is introduced. This would include accounting functions, basics lists, key data input, and more. Information covered in this course provides the groundwork for early and accurate input of data.

EnterpriseIQ Manufacturing I
This is a five day hands-on course in which the user will learn the basic fields and functions of EnterpriseIQ’s MRP based system. This course will take you through EnterpriseIQ’s manufacturing basics. Topics covered will include inventory, bills of material, work orders, production scheduling, material planning, shipping and more.

EnterpriseIQ Manufacturing II
This five day hands-on course is an advanced level course in which the user will learn how to utilize EnterpriseIQ’s MRP based system to its fullest. This course will take you through an in depth look at the entire manufacturing and MRP process. Topics covered will include bills of material, inventory features and options, inventory availability, work order management, material planning, RealTime™ monitoring, customer and vendor RMA’s and more.

EnterpriseIQ Manufacturing ASSY/Generic
This is a five day hands-on course in which the user will learn how to utilize EnterpriseIQ’s MRP based system to its fullest, as it relates specifically to ASSY, Generic, and Outsourced operations. This course will take you through the entire manufacturing and MRP process.  Topics covered will include process maintenance, bills of material, inventory, work orders, production scheduling, material planning, production reporting and more.

EnterpriseIQ Resource Management
This is a three-day hands-on virtual course where user will learn basic sales order demand and production flow with an emphasis on resource management. Day one introduces users to the Capable to Promise functionality and how it calculates material, machine, and labor capacity for offering realistic customer delivery dates. The following two days will focus on the basic production flow from order entry through shipment to gain a better understanding of how all the pieces tie together from planning material purchasing, to production, to daily shipments.

EnterpriseIQ Quality Management System (QMS)
This five-day,  hands-on course explores the key concepts and philosophies of the IQMS Quality system. The goal is to provide a detailed overview of the system, while making suggestions for setup and implementation. Topics such as Document Control, Corrective Actions, and SPC are covered.

EnterpriseIQ System Administration Training
This five-day hands-on introductory course is an overview of administering the EnterpriseIQ/Oracle software. The goal is to help the user become more familiar with EnterpriseIQ and Oracle administrative tools, backups, and how to setup security. It also addresses installation of other applications as they relate to the use with EnterpriseIQ. This course is not a substitute for Oracle’s training courses. Oracle administrative tools are presented as they pertain to using EnterpriseIQ.

EnterpriseIQ Time & Attendance/Payroll
This is a two-day hands-on course where users will learn how to utilize EnterpriseIQ’s Time & Attendance and Payroll systems. EnterpriseIQ Warehouse Management System (WMS)
This is a five day hands-on course in which the user will learn how to utilize EnterpriseIQ’s Warehouse Management System. This course will take you through EnterpriseIQ’s WMS and IQRF Software Modules. Topics covered will include labeling in EnterpriseIQ, Receiving and Shipping via scanner, Pallet Labels, Serialized Inventory Control and more.
