IQMS Executives to Present at 2016 MAPP Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference for Plastics Processors

IQMS CEO Gary Nemmers will share the company’s manufacturing ERP product strategy and roadmap; IQMS CMO Steve Bieszczat will discuss the role of IoT in Industry 4.0

PASO ROBLES, CA. – October 4, 2016 – IQMS, a leading manufacturing ERP software and manufacturing execution system (MES) authority, today announced that company executives will conduct three sessions in conjunction with the 2016 MAPP Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference. IQMS will host two pre-event interactive sessions around the IQMS manufacturing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Additionally, IQMS CMO Steve Bieszczat will present a session on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0.

The Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference is hosted by MAPP, the Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors. It serves as a no-nonsense business exchange designed to provide senior executives in the plastics manufacturing industry with information and insights on how to improve their operations and tactics in order to impact bottom line profits. The conference will run October 13-14, 2016, and the pre-event sessions are being held October 12, 2016. All conference and pre-event sessions will be conducted at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, IN.

October 12: IQMS Executive Session

IQMS CEO Gary Nemmers will lead the IQMS Executive Session in which he will provide an update on the company’s progress. He then will discuss the IQMS product roadmap to provide an understanding of improvements and direction. Additionally, IQMS experts will be on hand to address attendees’ company-specific challenges and requirements. The session will be held at 1:30 p.m. on October 12.

October 12: IQMS Introduction and Software Overview

The IQMS Introduction and Software Overview will examine the functionality of the IQMS system, which combines ERP and MES functionality into one integrated system. Attendees also will learn how this solution can help streamline the business and provide valuable insights into daily manufacturing operations and finances. The session will be held at 3:00 p.m. on October 12.

October 13: The Internet of Things / Internet 4.0

Everyone is now surrounded by smart devices connected to remote control centers via the Internet, from street lamps to cars, and even children. In this session, IQMS CMO Steve Bieszczat will discuss how this interconnectedness—the Internet of Things—provides efficiencies and visibility that were previously impossible. He then will review the on-going revolution in industry whose hallmarks are automation, data exchange, and data-driven actions. Then he will examine how together IoT and Industry 4.0 can and will positively impact manufacturers’ business. The session will be held at 1:15 p.m. on October 13, as part of the conference’s Game Changers track.
