IQMS Debuts WebIQ Browser-Based User Interface
for EnterpriseIQ Manufacturing ERP System

WebIQ, which was unveiled at the IQMS Pinnacle user conference, lets users access the EnterpriseIQ manufacturing ERP system anywhere on any device

LAS VEGAS, N.V. – April 5, 2016 – IQMS, a leading manufacturing ERP software and manufacturing execution system (MES) authority, today announced the new WebIQ interface for IQMS’ EnterpriseIQ manufacturing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The user interface (UI) is designed to run on any device that has a standard browser and Internet connection, giving IQMS customers the flexibility to access EnterpriseIQ anywhere from their computer, mobile phone or tablet of choice.

WebIQ was unveiled today at Pinnacle, IQMS’ user conference, which runs April 5-7, 2016 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The event brings together manufacturing executives, ERP technical experts, and industry thought leaders in 40 sessions examining manufacturing technology and business best practices, as well as how to get the most of IQMS software.

“Manufacturers face an increasingly mobile workforce in which employees are using their notebook computers, tablets and smartphones for work at the office, on the shop floor, at home, and on the road,” said Gary Nemmers, president and CEO of IQMS. “With WebIQ, our customers will now have a single Web-based interface for accessing our EnterpriseIQ software from any location using the device that best supports their needs.”

WebIQ, which is based on HTML5 and JavaScript, recreates the existing EnterpriseIQ UI. In addition to providing the flexibility to use a range of popular devices and Web browsers, it eliminates the need to update client-side software or maintain terminal services functionality. As a result, manufacturers can eliminate a significant layer of IT cost.

Because WebIQ provides a one-to-one function match with the existing UI, users do not have to learn new key stokes or procedures. Additionally, WebIQ can be mixed and matched with IQMS’ current UI, giving current EnterpriseIQ users the option to adopt the new interface incrementally or all at once. Currently in field-testing, WebIQ will be generally available later this year.
