IQMS Continues Record Growth in 2016

New cloud options, expanded partner program, and new customer service initiatives support growing base of manufacturing ERP customers worldwide

PASO ROBLES, CALIF. – December 7, 2016 – IQMS, a leading manufacturing ERP software and manufacturing execution system (MES) authority, announced that the company has continued to see record growth in the first 10 months of 2016. The company’s expansion was led by the addition of 165 new manufacturing facilities by new and current IQMS customers worldwide. During this same period, IQMS rolled out several new offerings and initiatives aimed at giving manufacturers greater choice and helping them to optimize their use of IQMS software.

New Cloud Solutions

In 2016, IQMS has provided customers of its manufacturing enterprise resource planning (ERP) software with more options for deploying IQMS software in the cloud to ensure robust protection and disaster recovery—without the cost of maintaining a remote data center.

IQMS first launched “Choice is the New Cloud” in Q1 2016. The program gives customers options for deploying the IQMS system as a cloud-based subscription service, licensed software managed in the cloud by IQMS, or an on-premises implementation of licensed software.

More recently in Q3 2016, IQMS debuted IQMS for Oracle Cloud Backup. The solution enables customers to automatically backup their IQMS system data, which is powered by an embedded Oracle database, to the robust Oracle Cloud. This eliminates the need to manually backup data while providing secured offsite storage. Significantly, the cloud service is available to all manufacturing customers, whether they have IQMS software deployed on-premises or in the cloud hosted by IQMS.

Expanded Partner Program

Q1 2016 saw the expansion of IQMS’ channel strategy to encompass both domestic and international partners to support the growing demand for IQMS and diverse requirements among manufacturing facilities worldwide. Solutions providers in Europe and North America that have joined the IQMS Partner Program in 2016 are experts in delivering services to support manufacturers’ selection and implementation of ERP and MES software.

Strengthening Customer Support

In 2016, IQMS also invested in three initiatives aimed at supporting manufacturing customers’ real-world needs and further taking advantage of IQMS to optimize their business operations.

  • The Customer Advisory Board complements the IQMS software enhancement request (SER) process in giving users a voice in the direction of the IQMS’s product direction and roadmap.
  • The IQMS Customer Success Team is chartered with ensuring that customers have the training, knowledge and resources to maximize their operational efficiency and effectiveness using the IQMS system.
  • The cloud-based Five9 Virtual Contact Center, implemented at IQMS in Spring 2016, quickly routes customers to the right support representative to get the answers and assistance they need.

“Increasingly, manufacturers worldwide are turning to IQMS for our leadership in delivering comprehensive manufacturing ERP software that combines a native manufacturing execution solution and single database approach to ERP,” said Gary Nemmers, IQMS CEO. “With our robust cloud offerings, expanding partner network, and customer initiatives, we are extending our commitment to creating a superior experience for these manufacturers and to continuously improving the IQMS products and services they rely on to run their businesses.”
