2008 IQMS User Group Meeting a Great
Success
Nearly 200 EnterpriseIQ Users Convened for
Three-Day, Collaborative Event
Paso Robles, CA, November 12, 2008 - IQMS,
a leader in the design and development of Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) software, is pleased to announce the success of its most recent
User Group meeting, which was held October 22-24, 2008 at the Sheraton
Resort in Anaheim, California. The three-day, interactive event
drew 200 EnterpriseIQ users from around the world, with titles represented
including CEO, CFO, and IT management. IQMS User Group meetings
offer customers a unique opportunity to learn present and future
development plans, participate in one-on-one Q&A sessions, interact
with other customers, and - most importantly - become part of discussion
groups that shape the advancement of the EnterpriseIQ suite of products.
"User Group meetings are invaluable to both IQMS
and our customers because they foster face to face collaboration
and understanding and give us a compass with which to direct future
upgrades and development," explains Randy Flamm, president
and founder of IQMS. "As always, this year's event gave us
valuable feedback and further strengthened our ability to work with
our customers toward the common goal of driving an efficient and
profitable supply chain."
"I see clearly their strong commitment to the
ongoing success of my business," says Jeff Bowers, production
manager at Jaco Manufacturing. "EnterpriseIQ delivers great
benefit as an ERP solution for manufacturers, but the value does
not stop with the product. IQMS goes well beyond expectations in
their effort to inform and understand their customers. The IQMS
User Group meeting is a big part of that endeavor, and gives me
the chance to expand my knowledge and help to make the software
evolve. It is an experience not provided by other ERP companies
I have used."
The 2008 IQMS User Group meeting offered EnterpriseIQ
users the chance to collaborate with and learn from other users
how to get the most from their implementations. From large group
discussions to smaller break-out sessions and targeted industry
debates, attendees could network with peers from across the manufacturing
industry landscape. The event also put customers in direct contact
with IQMS developers and executives who outlined future, free upgrades
and presented new and developing IQMS products such as SmartPage,
SmartSearch, Spreadsheet Server, RackTruck, and PalletWrapper. Additionally,
the latter two applications were the focus of an Automation Round
table that focused on shop floor to ERP integration. With two customer
companies presenting, other IQMS users were offered an opportunity
to see photos, usage, and ROI of projects that can expand their
lean and agile goals for operation.
"As an IQMS customer, the User Group not only
allows me to participate in the direction, functionality, and feel
of the software but is also an invaluable collaborative environment
where the customer base can discuss how we have applied the software,"
said Nathan Goodrich, systems manager at Packaging Plus.
